tax year and have earned income,
you may be eligible to establish a tax deductible IRA.
All earnings on your IRA contributions
(deductible and/or nondeductible) remain tax deferred until you
make withdrawals from the account.
You may invest in either a savings account
or CD.
Coverdell Education Savings Account (CESA)
Formerly known as the Education IRA. This
is a nondeductible account that features penalty-free and tax-free
withdrawals made for the purpose of a child’s higher education
expenses.
A contribution can be made on behalf of
a child if certain requirements are met.
You may invest in either a savings account
or CD.
Roth IRA
If you (or your spouse) have earned income
and meet certain income
requirements, you are eligible for this nondeductible account
that
features tax-free withdrawals for certain distribution reasons
after a
five year holding period.
You may invest in either a savings account
or CD.
SEP IRA
A Simplified Employee Pension (SEP) allows
an employer to make contributions to an employee’s retirement.
Any employer, whether a corporation, partnership,
or a self-employed individual, may establish a SEP even if there
are no other employees.
You may still qualify to contribute to
a regular IRA.
You may invest in either a savings account
or CD.
IRA Savings
An IRA Savings account gives you the benefit
of earning a variable rate of interest and you can easily add
to the balance.
IRA CD’s
Earn a competitive rate of interest for
the term that best suits your investment needs.
Interest can be automatically deposited
to your checking, savings or added back to the CD.
All current rules and regulations of the bank apply. Federal
regulations
require us to impose a penalty for early withdrawal of a time
deposit. Customers are reminded to seek the advice of their
